Oxymett is a lambda sensor inhibitor designed to stabilize the air-fuel mixture in electronically fuel-injected engines, preventing the excessive leaning imposed by closed-loop operation.
It improves running smoothness and low-RPM response, proving particularly effective when used with racing exhaust systems or additional control units.

Description

The Oxymett lambda sensor inhibitor is developed to optimize the operation of electronically fuel-injected engines equipped with a closed-loop lambda control system.

During part-throttle operation, the original ECU uses the lambda sensor signal to maintain a very lean air-fuel mixture in compliance with emission regulations. This strategy can cause uneven power delivery, surging at low RPM, and reduced throttle smoothness.

Oxymett intervenes on the lambda sensor signal, either inhibiting or modifying its function depending on the application, allowing a more stable and linear air-fuel management. This reduces irregularities at low and mid RPM and improves delivery consistency.

The use of the inhibitor also allows any additional control units, if installed, to operate fully, preventing the lambda system from limiting their intervention at low engine speeds.
